The complaint I had was the rake (slant) wasn't steep enough, but that's a architectural design flaw. My mom is 5' and I'm 5'2" on a good day. A gentleman sat in front of my mom and she couldn't see around his head. She had to continually ask me who was talking or singing. We switched seats at intermission & what should happen, but he switched seats & ended up sitting in front of her anyways. Plus, there was a pushy (literally) usher. So sad to say... Hamilton, a work of pure mastery, performed in a theatre with seats in such disrepair that they cause pain. My five friends and I paid over 1200 dollars to be tortured by seats that should have been replaced years ago. Your disregard for the comfort of your customers is appalling. Orpheum Theatre - get your act together (pun intended)! There's no excuse for this.
That was the best musical I have ever seen. Hamilton was better than I ever expected.
Beautiful theatre. Only problem was the very long line to use the restroom.
It is a beautiful and well run theater. Attending a show there always feels important. The sight lines are good and the sound was perfect for Hamilton.
