I attended the Prince Purple Rain show last night and it was fabulous!! Thank you all that were instrumental in putting this together, GREAT JOB❤️
Update to this review 2/17 - We have seating in the newly renovated area of the orchestra. The seats have been restuffed and the rows are now wider apart. My knees very much appreciate the change. I still think that the older seats are too narrow. This would have been a good chance to go ahead and make the jump to truly great seating (wider, same row to row spacing, and I would add a holder for the drinks in the arm). Haven't ever seen a bad show at the Orpheum! It's a first-class venue with first-class entertainment!! Bravo!!
I love going here, but the seats are two small and uncomfortable. I would pay a higher price for comfort if they would tear out those seats and space them further apart, so you are not in persons face the whole time and you can see over a big headed person in front of you. Please change those seats!!!
Best Broadway in the MId-south, a must stop if you are visiting Memphis.
We have been season ticket holders for a number of years, and we are so pleased with the venue and excellent value. Theater goers had to contend with construction for the 2013, 2014 seasons, but the completion of the Halloran Center more than makes up for any inconvenience experienced.
I always enjoy myself at the Orpheum. The ushers are the best!
The very heart of the arts in our wonderful area! Lucky us!
