Beautiful, historical theater. Very friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. Every experience is wonderful

The seating is very uncomfortable and there is no leg room for tall people or people who need extra room. Also, if you have are using a walker or a wheelchair, be advised that if there are buses on the side of the building (after the show), they will not let you through on the side walk. So you can either get in the road and scoot around the buses (there is a large drop of), you can wait the 15+ minutes for "all clear" so you can use the public sidewalk, or you can walk all the way back to the cross walk. My very first time at the Orpheum. Dirty Dancing was very good. The seats were very small and uncomfortable. Also, I stood in line at intermission for a bathroom break. One bathroom with four stalls. Twenty minutes I waited. No time for drink line.
So, Bob and I wanted to enjoy a fun night out and try to "escape", if only for a few hours, all of the political rhetoric that surrounds us these days! "Dirty Dancing" at the Orpheum should have been that escape! Don't you think? Does ANYBODY remember "We Shall Overcome" being sung in the movie? Along with a rant by "Baby" about black people not being allowed to eat at a lunch counter. It's been decades! Had a great time at the show but the seats are to small.
OMG. Dirty dancing was amazing. There were some far-fetch scenes that made us laugh but otherwise a great show!!!
I had the TIME OF MY LIFE!!! Season ticket Holders and the best money ever spent :)
It's beautiful, just wish the seats were a bit bigger
