RecommendedI've been there three times. All of them on weekdays, so I have never experienced a wait. I've had the roast beef hash, the GFY (granola, fruit yogurt) and one of the scrambles. I am a previous restaurant owner and a bit of a foodie. This is one of the best breakfasts spots anywhere, and I seek them out. I don't live in Sac, but when I'm there, I make sure to plan a breakfast at Orphan.

RecommendedI had the regular pancakes and link sausage. The pancakes were fluffy and big. Light on the buttermilk but tasty nonetheless. Real maple �syrup on the table , nice! My Girl got French toast and said it was a tad dry. Maybe more egg wash is in order ? It was beautifully presented and it was made from French bread . business was bustling on Friday morning and parking can be a challenge as they have a small lot and permit parking surrounds it. All in all, I'd go back.
