Perhaps the most overhyped and inexplicably self-important place to eat breakfast in Sacramento. The wait is absurd, at least on the weekends. Maybe, possibly, it would make sense to wait around for an hour to eat breakfast at a place that is good. But this place is only mediocre in most respects. The menu is actually quite limited, as are your beverage options. If you have the temerity to request a common condiment like ketchup for your eggs or hash browns, prepare for war. You wil lose. A great breakfast spot. I feel like I found a jewel. I will definitely return. And don't me started on the Java...the best dark roast was served.

The food and the atmosphere were exceptional. Items on the menu were moderately priced, and the portions were well worth the money. I would go here again.

Based on one visit with four other people. Had blueberry cornmeal pancakes - very tasty. A bit heartier than the typical flour based buttermilk cakes. My 11 y/o daughter had the buttermilk pancakes... I got a bite; pretty good. The ladies had the avacado scramble that they said it was excellent. Another reviewer here said it was "a little too organic for me." Not sure if he was talking about the food or the staff. Amazingly tender steak in the hash and if I was Martha Stewart pineapple-upside-down-pancakes would definitely be officially certified a "Good Thing"

The blueberry cornmeal pancakes are so good! Great coffee! Excellent service! Great place to go for breakfast before going to the farmers market in East Sac.
