Ornamentea Beads and Jewelry Supply Terrible customer service classes canceled with very little notice - less than 24 hours. When you go in to the store no one is willing to help - they are too busy socializing.

LoveIt LoveIt LoveIt I often take classes at Ornamentea; the staff is talented and courteous. You can tell that they are passionate about art by the samples on display, and the way they help anyone who needs it. I think at least 2 people who work there are published artists in jewelry. They also carry neat gifts and hysterically funny cards. I've been to other bead stores in Cary and without fail, they disappoint me. Ornamentea never disappoints.

High quality and unique beads We discovered Ornamentea when we were doing a jewelry making activity at work. After getting cheap beads and fasteners at craft stores, we were amazed at the quality and uniqueness of the items at Ornamentea. We all shop there now, and I love taking friends in to browse as their inventory changes often.

Custom Jewelry...By You Ornamentea is a store in Glenwood South that sells beads. When you think bead store you usually think a cheezy craft store. Ornamentea actually sells high quality glass beads, expensive glass beads in some cases. This is a great place to go if you want to make a piece of custom jewelry. They have classes fairly reguarly teaching people how to make their own earrings and necklaces. Great store, helpful, great selection SO nice to have a local store with such a great selection and such helpful employees. I also love the beadfreak card where after spending a certain amount of money you get merchandise for free. I always have so much fun every time I go in there as their selection is always changing!!

This place is fantastic My cousin really likes going to this store. After seeing a piece of jewlery she had made there at Christmas I decided to give the place a little look see. Wow! they really do have tons of great looking beads, I felt like I could have made any piece of jewlery I wanted. This isn't like your typical craft store, this place is for people who are serious about making jewlery, and really nice jewelry at that. I have been a Ornamentea customer for as long as they have been in Raleigh. Even with their growth and change, they have remained true to their words of customer service and selection. I truly enjoy going to this store and even when I don't find what I'm looking for, I find something I didn't need and buy it anyway!

Ornamentea is the only venue where I can purchase high quality and unusual components for jewelry making (as opposed to the mass- produced and bland offerings in local giant craft stores). The staff is skilled and eager to assist the customer and Cynthia, the proprietor, is a true visionary who makes the experience in her store an outstanding one. Recently my mother-in-law visited from Torino and concluded that this was the only store worth a return visit!

The classes are excellent, but lately the gemstone bead selection is scanty and too expensive. Better deals are on Ebay.
