We are grateful to have found Dr Gernert and his team. I recently buldged/herniated 4 discs, 1 quite severe. I went to the er right away, but my pc dr couldnt see me for 2 weeks. Here they saw me in 1 or 2 days. My mom took me to the 1st appt in the back of her suv so i could lay flat, i couldnt sit down. I nearly couldnt feed myself, couldnt walk to the fridge even, and had to have my gf visit daily to hold my head up to spoon feed or turn on my side for each swallow in bed. I never imagined I would need the care of a pain management physician-thankfully my neurosurgeon knew better and referred me to Dr Gernert. He is a kind and skilled practitioner. He listened to my concerns and developed a treatment plan I trust. My second epidural a week ago has brought me tremendous relief. If you are in pain-don't hesitate to seek Dr Gernert's help. Wonderful experience in every way. Couldn’t be more pleased. I have had chronic back pain for several years. Two friends referred me to Dr Gernert. He listened to me, he studied imagaging I brought to him and offered options for treatment. Ordered a new MRI of my back.
