Poor processes and communication. I was told 1 hour when I checked in. I also noted that 3 people checking in before and after me; all clearly stating walk in 2 people who checked in after me were called before me and I was not out in a room for 1 hour and 45 minutes. I can understand delays, it not taking before out of order. Very poor communication along the way and no one would give any feedback or explanation.

I had a TKR here and I also had a revision surgery in Ohio. Wow, is Orlando Health Jewett so behind the times. I have severe Arthrofibrosis and the nurses had me on Juven ( horrible of Arthrofibrosis) the surgeon was very rough during the surgery, they use STAPLES still. Ohio uses a dissolvable tape and after 2 weeks, I was completely healed. Shower immediately. I asked my surgeon about a CPM machine and he scoffed at me and said, “we don’t have those here” literally walked away. His PA WAS THE PERSON WHO RECOMMENDED IT!!! I... read more

Dr.Money did my rotor cuff surgery last year and I am extremely happy with his work. I have full use of my shoulder and will be going back most likely for my other shoulder. I definitely recommend him. He's pleasant knowledgeable and he definitely knows how to make you feel at ease

I have used Jewett Orthopedic's convenient walk-in clinic 4 or 5 times now over the past few years, sometimes for acute orthopedic injury, and sometimes for treatment for a chronic condition. Sometimes walk-in clinics have a reputation for somehow being of lesser professional quality, but that is quite the opposite at Jewett! I've seen 4 different providers at the Summerport location (both MDs and PAs), each of whom was not only extremely qualified, but also very professional. Been to the "walk-in" orthopedic clinic for two separate issues; one was chronic pain and one was the day after an ER visit for a broken arm and wrist. Both times the care was excellent, both times the wait was short (though, I would have understood if a patient with more emergent needs was taken first) the staff was helpful and professional. I was listened to, never felt rushed, and had all my questions answered. Couldn't have expected more - even if I was a Karen:)
