On 07/20/2026 I walked into Jewett Orthopedic only to find out they do not accept ChampVA. ChampVA is the medical insurance program for dependents of 100% Permanent and Total disabled veterans through the Department of Veterans Affairs. My wife called ahead for an injury my son sustained at Cross Country. She asked if they accepted and was told yes. I showed up and am then told no. Wasted trip while my son needed to been seen. Orlando Orthopedic down the street accepted ChampVA no problem. Was seen as a walk-in.
