Called to schedule an appointment. Since kid I have insulin resistance and after I gave birth I’m gaining a lot of weight even when I barely eat. I wanted to get help. The women on the phone told me if I have obesity I should go to a different doctor.
I am writing to express concern regarding my recent experience when attempting to schedule an appointment with Orlando Health endocrinology. My primary care physician referred me to an endocrinologist to address thyroid concerns, hormonal imbalances, and various symptoms. I initially called in December 2024 and again today to schedule an appointment.
