Save yourself the frustration and avoid this company. I first called Orkin to schedule an appointment and left work early so I could be home during the promised 4:00–6:00 p.m. arrival window. At 5:00 p.m., Ed called and asked if I wanted to schedule an appointment—as if one had never been made. That was my first red flag. We have an ant problem that needs to be addressed but Orkin only offers annual contracts that come out every month. Does it take a year to rid a house of ants? That would be $800 a year to treat an ant problem. I am not living with ants in my kitchen and living room waiting for Orkin to figure out how to exterminate them and get the maximum money from a potential customer.
