I purchased a policy for complete coverage that was a little better priced than the California Fair Plan for fire coverage and Aegis for my wrap-a-round policy. Orion180 required me to install at my cost of $300 a AWTOS water shut off valve in order for my water coverage to cover me for water damage. I spent $500 to have it installed by a licensed plumber(required by Orion180). After I sent in proof of installation I was then required to take some 200+ photos of every part of my home. I would not recommend this group to my worst enemy. They dropped my coverage for no reason and will not answer the phone for me to get any answers.
SO Orion180 has covered me twice. I canceled the first time and they willingly took me back after I discovered they had the most coverage, including wind & hail for the least cost than anywhere else, believe me I checked! So I thought my mortgage company was paying the premium as escrow, but the refund for the canceled policy came to me instead of the mortgage company, so I almost lost this policy too, for non payment.
