With our historic building sitting right on the Santa Rosa Sound in Fort Walton Beach, we want to make sure the meal and time spent with us is as memorable as the view. Come in and try our wide range of seafood items, including raw oysters, fish, shrimp, crabs and lobster crab cakes. This is my favorite seafood place in town. I know I can come here and I will get consistently great service and food, anytime of the year. The staff always makes us feel welcome, and appreciate that we are locals. They go above and beyond to let you know that. The prices are great too! We normally get a Captain’s Steamed Seafood Bucket, and I have never been disappointed. I don’t go anywhere else for my seafood needs. I recommend them to everyone I know.

The Shack is my go to restaurant for any occasion! We were recently there on Mother’s Day, and received excellent service, the food came out quickly, and everything was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing! Any time someone asks me where to go, I suggest the Shack, as you cannot go wrong! Consistently delicious! I will always come back for more!
My family loves eating at the original waterfront crab shack. We visit fort Walton every year and make sure it’s our first stop! We just ate there last week and will be back in September. MUST try the Bangin shrimp, it’s the best!!

We come to Florida once a year but we make sure to stop by the The Original Waterfront Crab Shack twice while we're here! The crab dip is delicious and full of crab meat, the shrimp appetizer is phenomenal and the snow crab legs with potatoes, coleslaw and hush puppies � incredible!! Lots to choose from and a great summer drink menu!
