My first time eating here and it was so good! I got the sautéed crab claws and they are now my absolute favorite place to have them! I love love love sweet potato fries and good ones are hard to find. This place has the best! My husband got the coconut shrimp and they were delicious too! We got the fried cheesecake for dessert and it is a must!!! This is the only place that I know of that serves it in Pensacola and it is to die for! I really enjoyed the atmosphere of musicians that don't let it go to their heads! Sam made me feel right at home and the sound was great!! I had dinner a few weeks ago and the food was also great! I will definitely be coming back and bring my guitar with me!!
I humbly must say, the food has always been spot on, never a bad experience. I'm partial to the chef special options, however the tune dip, which I get just about every time we dine, is literally untouchable. It is done RIGHT. I've read some reviews stating bad experiences, and all I can say is try again, and don't be afraid to develop a communicative relationship with your server to figure out what's best for you to try. All of it is good, but not all of it will be for you. So figure that out by asking questions.
Always a great music experience and, then, there's the FOOD!!! Excellent all the way around!! Loving the enhanced music venue!!
I'm not from here but the staff at The Point made me feel more welcome than I do in many places back home. The mullet sandwich is what my grandpa would call GOOD GROCERIES.
