The food exceeded my expectations (the cheese grits were out of this world and paired perfectly with the fried shrimp and new potatoes) and the music was "on point!" I love the fun, laid back atmosphere, and so did my 4 and 1 year old! We were visiting a family member who lives in the area and just had to come back for a second meal here after enjoying our first trip to The Point so much. The musicians were so engaging and made my son feel like a million bucks. I will definitely be recommending this restaurant!
We went in last night and I had shrimp and scallops and my hubs had the trigger fish with a lemon thyme sauce. My husband raved and raved about how good it was and it being his favorite seafood meal he has ever had in this area! My husband's family owns Scoma's Fine Fining Italian Restaurant on The Pier in San Francisco and Sausalito so he knows great food. Buzz the Chef is INCREDIBLY gifted with food, and Jessica our sweet waitress took great care of us. We will def be back!!
It was awesome and the band WHYTE CAPS WERE GREAT , AND THE FOOD WAS OFF THE CHAIN...AND THE EMPLOYEES ARE ALWAYS VERY NICE...
The Point is our regular go-to restaurant. We've eaten about everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. The service is great from Ms Winnie's oversight (and cakes!) to the friendly servers. The entertainment is great - we always go on Thursdays to hear the Ole River String Band.
