I am/was a repeat customer; however, I went there today and they demanded masks. They were even trying to sell them. Wear a mask to walk to a table 10 feet only to take it off to eat? They refused service, which is their right. However, they lost me as a customer for good! I’ve been to the Mel’s in Roseville without any issues as well as many other restaurants in the Natomas area without any issues, no masks required to come in and eat. They treated us like we had the plague. No thank you, won’t EVER be back!

We do apologize for your inconvinence. However it is a California mandate to wear face covering when you are in public space. You may remove mask to eat. We are following State mandate /guidelines. They are enforcing this and will have consequences for not following. We were selling the mask because you didn’t have one and we do not get them for free. We are a youth martial arts team and choose Mel’s for our postcompetition meal almost every week. With an awesome menu that is consistent you can’t go wrong. After completing all day you can imagine our youth and adults really enjoy the large portions that are served up. It’s usually breakfast for the youth and lunch for the adults.
