When another Vet couldn't help my lab and recommended more and more invasive tests (AND I could not even get her on the phone for 6 weeks to discuss the situation) I brought my dog to Dorothy. She took a simple, overlooked exam, prescribed a home remedy that worked like a charm, and has been my favorite Vet ever since! She has heart and smarts and I can't say enough about how she has really been there for my precious ones.
Dorothy has been wonderful to our pets over the years when we lived in Oriental. Moved to Emerald Isle a year ago and did not fully trust the vet that I was seeing here. So last month I drove two hours to have Dorothy examine my dog...i think that says it all:)
Dorothy is amazing. She has taken care of our Lab, Bella for many years now. This past week we had to let Bella go. Dorothy made an impossible to deal with situation for my son and I so much easier. She is truly our angel this Christmas Season.
Dr. Dimond is a compassionate caring veterinarian, andt listens to the needs of her charges and their families. Since I have a wacky dog who is forever getting into some toxin or another, her treatment of Amity and my other companion animals has been stellar. A home run business, if you want a sterile office environment you may need to go elsewhere. Further, access is very important to me as a working woman. Dr. D provides that flexibility too. I will take my animals no where else!
History Being new to the community, I needed a vet asap. Dr. Dimond treated my boxer "Zoey" without any hestitation. Each time I brought Zoey in I felt very welcomed to be there. The office setting is very comforting as well! Big Thank-You Dr. Dimond. Keep up your good works!
