Amazing Place I went here with my uncle last year and the food was great. The food was very fresh and the waiters were very polite. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very nice.
The BEST chinese in the city!!! Oriental Pearl is THE BEST CHINESE in San Francisco! I mean it, the best. I have been there over and over and always have an amazing time. I highly suggest that you go with a group so that you can order several dishes and share them. The Peking Duck, Honey Walnut Prawns, Spicy Green Beans...and just about everything else. San Francisco's Oriental Pearl – went over with my Family and friends on a Saturday, thought it was going to be impossible to get a table but it was not, the place was really clean and had a good vibe going on, pretty quiet tho. Great Hidden Little Restaurant in China Town – The Oriental Pearl Restaurant offers great quality dim sum at a reasonable price. My sister and I arrived absolutely ravenous and ordered 8 different items, plus a pot of green tea, and our bill came out to be just less than $30. worst unaccommodating restaurant in USA The Concierge from our hotel made us a dinner reservation at The Oriental Pearl Restaurant and assured us it was where they send all their guests. I explained to the Concierge that our child has allergies and he said that this restaurant was extremely accommodating. We arrived five minutes early, were seated and immediately explained to the waiter (who understood English) about our daughter's eating allergies. Dim sum appetizer good. Entrees ok. – Not the most dynamic chinese food we've ever had. The service was attentive, the restaurant seems pretty clean. The cleanliness also lends itself to generic-ness, though. The dim sum appetizer was the best part of the meal--lots of great flavors and sauces.
