I waited over two hours to see Dr. Petrina, who was in a pretty big hurry to get through with my visit by the time he spoke with me. He immediately thought my continuous shortness of breathe and chest pains for 5 months were "stress related" instead of considering other important possibilities first. I have since found that my symptoms are GI related, no thanks to his advice to see a neurologist (way off base) and have more unrelated tests done at my great expense and waste of time.

AFTER LOSING MY DR VIJAY TO RETIREMENT ,I WAS LOST .NOT KNOWING ANOTHER GREAT CARDIOLIGIST,BUT RIGHT THERE IN THE SAME OFFICE I WAS TOLD ABOUT DR. ROUGAS AND WHAT A TREASURE HE IS. THE BEST CARDIOLOGIST IN DENVER. I WILL BE FOREVER THANKFUL THAT HE IS TAKING SUCH GREAT CARE OF MY HEART

Dr. Rougas should get a 5 - Star rating. No exaggeration, he is seriously the best doctor I have EVER encountered. He is spot-on and totally current with Cardiology (and nutrition, exercise and vitamin) research/data and he is brilliantly trained, innovative and thinks outside the proverbial box without disregard to convention.
