Just because they are organic doesn't mean they are great. First of all, their half and half is homogenized. There is absolutely no need to homogenize dairy other than for looks. I am happy to have cream that separates and is not homogenized. Secondly, they use plastic bottles. Their website says, "Why organic...because organic means free from stuff you don't want". Delicious, tasty and fresh. I just wish my local grocers offered more variety of Organic Meadow products here in Quebec.
They bought their bottling machine from a farmer who had it in his field for years. It leaks so bad the calcium build up around the pipes looks like bee hives. When they test the bottles for contamination they hardly pass and when they get frustrated they just push the product through regardless. I worked in sanitation here. You can't wash the bottling machine because it would literally fall apart.
