I've been in construction for 35 years, and the quality control on interior doors I purchased through a lumber yard are the worst I’ve seen. One door had a badly drilled bore for the handle — 2-1/8" on one side and 2-1/4" on the other, which shouldn't even be possible. The strike plates cutout were off, and the router groove were uneven and wavy. One door was already delaminating, and all three had deep scratches in spots that likely weren’t caused by transport.
