diss honest upper management staff, store managers that make sexual comments about other employees, when these things are brought up to the upper management they threaten your job instead of disciplining the person in management doing the in appropriate workplace behavior
The store manager refused to do a free installation of my car battery I just purchased for $170 because “he didn’t have enough staff” even though the store was dead and there was 3 men working in there. Even though the sign behind him clearly stated free car battery testing and installation.. and he wasn’t friendly at all. They charge you a fee of $18 and you get a refund if you bring your old battery back... so why not just do it then and there. Apparently chivalry is dead. 😔
I just had an exceptional experience here this afternoon. I was driving down I-5 when my oil light came on... pulled off and found the nearest O'Reilly, and was hopeful someone may be able to bring oil out to me so I didn't need to wake my sleeping, teething 9 month old. Not only did someone do so, but an employee named John (manager, I assume) went above and beyond. Processed payment while I waited by the car, brought out paper towels and a funnel, and cheerfully helped me check and top of my oil. Very pleasant, very helpfu... read more
