Worst customer service ever. I called ahead of time to ask for a replacement part . I had the part number ready and was rudely told he didn't want the information. Went to pick up part and they ordered the wrong one. Wasted my time, energy . I went back to return the wrong part they ordered, and was barely acknowledged, I had to ask for assistance even after the employee knew I was there. Complete disappointment. Hit or miss on whether the staff can or want to help you. The merrimack store is better.
The man at the counter was incredibly helpful. I needed a specific part for my van, and after some deliberation we found what seemed to be the right bushing for the rear control arm, he was also able to order it for me. Other auto stores I visited either didn't have the part or didn't understand what I was looking for, so his expertise was a huge relief. What really made my day was the great conversation we had. Who'd think that there'd be terrific parts selection and helpful sales people at a chain auto parts store? Let me start by saying that when this was the old VIP Auto Parts, I went into the store perhaps one or two times. Normally I'd frequent a couple of locally-owned parts stores that had a good stock or access to all sorts of oddball stuff. Now that they've been gobbled up, I rarely go there.
