I’ve had some issues off and on, but the past few months I have been quite unimpressed. I was almost late on my bill because I was stuck across the country, the app was down, and I was on hold for 3 hours with no answer. My friend ended up paying my balance for me, however, when I got home I had a collections letter. Good company. We've lived here 3 years, power has been out 4 times, but came back within a few hours. Was only out when it's very cold or very windy. That's actually pretty good for a rural power company. Though not much better in cities. I lived in a major city before and had power out for 3 days once, and had power out for 35 hours once in a smaller city (Casper, Wyoming). Power price with OTEC is very reasonable, and uptime is great for rural, or even compared to cities.

Really nice customer service. Easy to talk to on the phone. Very pleasant & not condescending or rude.
