He seems nice but doesn't listen to you. You are just a number one of many. He does not offer you hope.
Does not listen to what your symptoms are. He had a preconceived notion of what happened even though the doctor in the hospital recorded all the tests and information. He puts no emphasis on a patients quality of life!! Find a doctor that doesn’t find his patients an inconvenience!!
Had me get an MRI then never called with results! I'm a practitioner myself and always follow up with test results as soon as I get them. All of my symptoms point to ms, but states that my neurological issues do not resemble cases in his experience, as I have too many neurological symptoms for the one spot found on my brain! 85% of my symptoms are straight from the most reputable medical sites describing ms diagnoses! Treat your patient like you care and not a business.
Dr. Clark was kind, attentive and listened during my appointment with him this afternoon. He had a good grasp of my complex neurological issues. He is very intelligent and his goal seems to focus on healing the patient or helping them to the best of his abilities.
Terrible bedside manner, he acts very uninterested (even rolled his eyes), made me feel since I have MS I am a lost cause. He has never seen an MRI of me and showed no interest in doing one. He acts bored , like he has no interest in even being there.
Dr. Clark showed no interest in whether my wife would be able to experience improvement in her serious transitory blindness. His advice was that she might go completely blind and might not. If she goes completely blind for a period of more than a half hour we are advised to get to an emergency room. That's it. Nothing to address symptoms, and he clearly showed he does not care whether she will go blind or not. Lowest recommendation based on callous bedside manor.
I moved to Oregon a year ago and needed continued treatments with a neurologist. My visit with Dr Clark. was Completely Comfortable. He was very knowledgeable about my condition and agreed to continue previous treatment plan. He was very patient with my wife (who asks a lot of questions) and so was his staff. Since I started seeing him, I have learned that two friends from Florence also visit doctors in his group. I am very pleased.
Never responds to messages requiring response. Staff is so rude. If there were any other place to go we would.
The only problem I had with this office was Medical Records. Records were faxed 3 times from surgical office and this office could never find them. With all the staff it seems funny they close the office from noon to 1:30.
