Don't waste your time here unless you are prepared to be judged. The doc I saw told me that I was fat and if I lost weight my issues would disappear. They didn't. Finally had enough today from the incompetent jerks there and went to the ER and found out I have chronic congestive heart failure. I'd been seen both a pulmonologist and acardiologist and neither caught it. I have never felt so disrespected from a medical office. Unfortunately in Lane county there are not many options for lung doctors. The previous doctor here was amazing and went to bat for my health. In 2020 the atmosphere changed and the staff has become rude and the new doctors are dismissive about the actual well being of their people. Suddenly I am being seen in emergency room for pulmonary issues instead of an office .
I visited Oregon Lung Specialists during the winter and kindly asked at the front desk for the medical staff working with me during my appointment to wear a mask. Without any hesitancy, they stated they would pass along the request. I noted that all patients in the waiting area were wearing masks (it is a place where people with compromised lungs are getting medical care after all). Friendly staff and great doctor
Been trying to get scheduled for PFTs for 3 weeks now. They keep "not receiving" the faxed referral that my doctor's office has sent over at least twice now and suddenly the hold for me calling asking "did you receive the fax yet?" has gotten exponentially long and I have the feeling it's because no one wants to be the one to tell me they've lost (not received) my referral again....idk....what other reason's are there?
