The best, most efficient ER experience I have ever had. From signing in, to getting my paperwork and leaving was an incredible 1 hour TOTAL. I didn't even have time to walk to a waiting room chair before they called me back to take my vitals. Then they told me there was ONE patient in front of me. I couldn't believe it. Nice staff but the triage rooms are seriously disgusting. For how nice this hospital is, I think they can find people to clean floors, walls, etc. I felt like I didn’t want us touching anything because of how dirty it was.
I have been very impressed with care at OHSU and when my partner had a post-op UTI a few weeks ago, choosing the ER at OHSU seemed like a good decision. I was SO WRONG. Having children, I have been to many ER's over the years, none so bad as the one at OHSU. If I were on the board at OHSU, I would shut that department down as an embarrassment to the reputation of the institution.
