Thinking of everyone walking the line, and all the students being denied their time in the classroom. As the list of unions going on strike grows across Oregon, perhaps our elected official will take action to establish solid, consistent funding for our public schools.
Everyday I take both kiddos to Lone Pine and North Medford (Hederick student M.A.P.S.) I hold up my signs and give thumbs up to the TEACHERS! I am who I am today because of a MEDFORD TEACHER!

In solidarity...I teach at SOU--a class called "Schools and Society" in fact--and many students over the years have gone on to be teachers locally and beyond. ALL OF US who teach at whatever level are facing the same issues. Be strong...and be safe out there.
Parents shouldnt hVe to take it this far! All these kids want is to just learn.. but instead they would rather stand right beside there teachers. These subs are bringing 350 dollors a day, just to stand there lost in confussion with mo control over these kids. You have to build the trust before you can teach.
