I phoned the Eugene, VRS and the person answering the phone assured me they had training and job finding services that would be suitable for me. They told me the Springfield office was less busy and could see me sooner. After several weeks of waiting, I got an appointment. The counselor said they had no job finding services or training programs suitable for me. She told me there was "virtually no hope of a job" due to my age and physical disabilities.
