NOT RECOMMENDED – When Oregon Chimney came to my house to do work on our chimney they moved a coffee table (without permission) that my laptop was under and in the process broke my screen. I paid $300 to repair the damage to this computer. They denied that their staff broke my computer but initially set up a meeting to talk with me. They canceled the meeting and told me that I would be called by the owner the next day. He didn't call and they have not returned my phone calls since that time. Service is Great, Prompt and Reasonably Priced – We are a Portland area property management company (BB Management Group) and we recently found Oregon Chimney online. We began using them for chimney cleanings on the properties we manage. They are very friendly to deal with and have provided great service along the way. They are also very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone.

Not-Recommended – They came out to clean and inspect our fireplace and chimney and to check the drafting. Was there a total of 20 minutes, said the fireplace was in good working order safe for fires. 3 fires later, chimney catches fire, house is full of smoke and they blame us for building a too big fire. Nice, since the fire was at the very top of the fireplace and the fire itself was only a foot high.

Not recommended – Not Recommended - I would beware of this company. They removed an old oil flue (brick) from our home and did not tarp off the living space. The result was a layer of oily soot over everything in our basement. We ended up threatening legal action and they FINALLY paid for a professional cleaning, but not without a very long wait and a lot of legwork on our part. The Basement still does not feel clean... By the way, they deleted my original posting. Way to work for the consumer Citysearch...
