I was very disappointed with my Orchid Spa experience. I made reservations with a friend to have pedicures together. We were seated together but our toes were not done at the same time. My friend was completely finished with her pedicure before mine started. She went to the drying area and sat by herself while my pedicure was done. Then she sat with me while my toenails dried. My New Favorite Spot!!! Best Experience I've Had Since Moving To The Town!!
So like 5 minutes ago MermaidGypsy Cage and I went to a nail place, I wanted a full set and she wanted a fill. Kyra does her own nails and didn't use any gel nail polish, just the regular polish. This guy harassed her saying it is gel and it'll be an additional $15 JUST TO TAKE THE "GEL" POLISH OFF, plus 25 for the fill because she has her nails long already, and 10 for another color � They were rude, and they weren't welcoming at all, which sucks because I have gone there so many times before. Very relaxing atmosphere. Lots of pedicure options. You can reserve your appointment with a phone call or walk in.
I get pedicures on average every 3 weeks or so and have always wanted to try orchid spa and was excited to have gotten a gift certificate to visit their salon. I am so glad I got a gift certificate here and didn't have to pay out of pocket because this was probably the worst pedicure I ever had. The owner is very rude and unprofessional. They had no tools to work on calloused heels, cut the nails so far down that it looks like I only have half a toe on all my feet. I did not have a good experience here at all. I came to get acrylic nails put on for my wedding (never having had nails put on, mind you). I told the woman I wasn't sure what I was doing because I was new to this, and every time I asked her a question she would get agitated and started being more rough with my hands than was necessary. She was rude. Not only that, but my nails look terrible: there are bubbles in the acrylic, she didn't go all the way up to my cuticle so there is now a lot of grow out on my nail after less th... read more
