I've been a resident for over 5 yrs. and if you are interested in a well maintained, clean MH Park, this is the one for you! Notice that bad reviews are posted by those who don't want to follow rules! You will not find any animals running loose or tied out and barking; no trash flying around or in yards; lawns that are not mowed. Streets are kept free of parked vehicles along the sides at night. I currently live in Creekwood in Burton, I have lived in the community since 2015. I have had zero issues until we recently got a new manger who acts like her shit doesn't stink, She is very disrespectful, speaks down on you like your an idiot, oh and lets not mention Sun Communities thinks its okay for the Manager who is representing them wear sweats and a hoodie to work!!! When we first moved into this park Oct. 2018 is was very nice. The Owner and Staff were very pleasant. But since Feb of 2019 when Sun took over its been a different story and the staff are not pleasant at all. The park at this time is still ok and hope it stays that way. Time will tell whit Sun owning it.
Nothing But the Truth: This Shelby Forest Park was the finest facilities under the former owner! Jerry managed this park with true professional skills; however, the new owner "Sun Communities" is something else. Just take a look at Rudgate in Sterling Heights, and take a look at Camelot Villa in Macomb Township. We purchased a manufactured home from the former owners last year and if we knew "Sun" was purchasing the Park we would never have purchased our home at Shelby Forest! Bahia Vista Estates MHP is by far the best little secret in south west Sarasota, Fl.. Since Sun Communities took over in 2016 it has been beautiful. Starting with the experienced and friendly office staff and never ending upgrades to every inch of the park. We absolutely love it here and have no intentions of ever leaving this Paradise!
Priciest mobile home community in Ft. Collins. Rent goes up $25.00 every year and amenities are cut to bare bones. To park RV's, etc. in unsecured area once cost nothing. Now charged $10.00/mo. Sun Communities, who own the property, are deaf to residents' needs and concerns.
If zero stars were an option I'd choose that. Moving here will be the worst decision you could ever make. Management has no respect for their employees let alone their residents. Numerous employees have expressed their desire to quit due to the horrible treatment, and every resident I have ever spoken to is very upset with the way they are treated by office staff.
Very poor management! Two ladies running the show not on same page. Always a problem with sewers backing up. Nobody stops at the stop signs EVER.. people let there dogs crap in your yard and walk away.. just ask anyone that lives there..
I have lived in Northville Crossing since 8/30/13 and paid my lot rent without fail. I have not signed a lease since 2014. Why I really don't know i just paid the extra. Now they are evicting me. Why you ask? I don't know and that's the truth. If you go on the community website you can see my house getting compliments not complaints. So is that really the reason. Here is what I do know.
