We’ve been taking our family dog to Orchard Grove for regular checkups and vaccines for over a year now and the experience has consistently been amazing. We signed up for the Happy Pet Wellness Package - such a good idea! - which has made staying on top of preventive care way easier, not to mention more affordable for our family. Now we know our furball is always up to date with his shots and is as healthy as he can be!
We switched to Orchard Grove Animal Clinic last year after noticing a few red flags at a larger corporate clinic we used to go to, and the difference has been night and day. Dr. Erica takes the time to actually sit down and explain things clearly without making you feel dumb or overly imposing for asking questions. This is a small, independent practice with a team that genuinely cares about animals. That shone through from my very first visit, something like 5 or 6 years ago, and it has never wavered. These people are passionate about what they do. They take their time and do a fantastic job. And they’re bedside manner, even with animals that are a bit skittish and finicky, is really great. Speaking from experience on that last point.
Small clinic but very high standard of care. They were able to run bloodwork the same day. When your beloved dog is sick, like mine was (he’s okay now, thank god), that saves a lot of valuable time and prevents extra worry. Long story short, Dr. Erica explained the results to me and devised a treatment plan to get my furball back to his normal rambunctious self.
Over the years, I’ve brought my dogs (RIP Farley and Eustice) to a few different vets in the Toronto area. I can say without hesitation that this is the first place where I felt like the recommendations were truly customized for my dog, and not derived from a standard checklist.
