Orchard at Athens

My mother has been at Orchard of Athens since November 2024. It is a well run, clean, and professional facility. We looked at several other facilities, and none came close to Orchard. The staff are caring, and kind. The facility is bright, open, and inviting. The food overall is good, and abundant. Most importantly my mother feels at home here. We are very grateful that this facility is here in Athens.

I moved my father to the Orchard in September of 2024 from out of state. Having lived his entire life elsewhere, coupled with two forms of dementia, it was a challenge. This was made even more difficult in that while his mind was gone, he was still very mobile and didn't look like he should be living in a memory care unit. The first few months were quite a challenge as he frequently tried to leave and/or got rather frustrated by knowing he wasn't where he had been for the previous 76 years.
