RecommendedSailing with Orcas Island Sailing was the highlight of our trip to the San Juan Islands. Nat was our instructor/captain and he is fun, really easy-going, competent, and into getting everyone comfortable behind the helm. He was able to teach at an appropriate level for each of us. We will definitely be back next time for a full day or two. Our 8 & 10 year olds loved it, he had them completely sailing the boat without motoring in or out of the marina. And flying out on the open water. Highly recommend you book!

Nat is a very knowledgeable sailor and a fun person to be around. He made our island experience that much better. Sail with Nat, he's a cool cat!
My husband and I had to decide whether or not to keep our lesson on a blustery day. Ben carefully and frankly laid out the considerations, including the probability of spending a lot of time tilted over in a way that might be unnerving.
