My children pita was so good, big portions, and service was good and quick.
Service was great, but the food is pretty pricey. I haven’t had much on the menu but I can say I wouldn’t eat the fish and chips even if they were free, it was basically crispy water with absolutely no flavor.
Went to have a nice hot breakfast, paid $52 for two of us with 2 small lattes 2 breakfast sandwiches…. Sandwiches were cold, on a hamburger bun with a sweet tomato sauce cold hard “egg” and hardened fake cheese…It was disgusting! We did both return the sandwiches with one bite out…and they did refund our money
This used to be a foodie establishment, with amazing house made ingredients, weekly specials worth traveling for, and great island atmosphere. We moved back to the islands for the summer last week and were so disappointed in the changes we found at the Orcas Cafe. Increased prices, the same cheap food you would find in a dive bar, inedible fries (that are no longer included with meals), cork fees for wine, and whitewashed walls that erased the island vibe and exemplify the food which clearly came out of a Sysco truck.
Busted! He dropped our baked good on the floor behind the counter and we caught him putting it back in the bag!! When he saw that he’d been discovered, he asked sheepishly “oh, you don’t want this?” Nope! We sat down and waited for our lattes for a while. Waiting … then we went back in and they said they “forgot”. Not apologetic, just matter of fact. After all that, the lattes were not worth their wait.
