I could not ask for more from Orbit Eye Care. This pandemic has made many of us Including me, apprehensive about going in to see our doctors. I could not have been made more comfortable with reassurance that the waiting room, the exam room, the doctor and the personnel were fastidiously clean. All wearing wearing face masks. Very good service. Doctor was very friendly and answered all my questions in great detail.
I made an appointment on the Orbit website. When I arrived I provided my info to the receptionist. She asked if I made my reservation online. I responded that I did. She said I had no appointment. I asked if the Orbit online appointment system doesn’t work? She said, “No it’s not that…” I think it’s inconsiderate of this office to not made amends to get me into an appointment considering the error was theirs after I wasted my time attempting to attain care. I won’t be attempting to return to this business for my eye issue.
$122 for the exam WITH INSURANCE. That already seemed sketchy. Then they tried to get me to pay another $300 for my contacts. Again. That’s with insurance. What a joke. That $300 by the way? I’m rounding down. Costco had my contacts for literally a fraction of the price and my insurance covered the whole thing. Do the sensible thing and buy your glasses and contacts somewhere else.
