I am in need of a structural engineer to help me make a very old (1890s) house structurally sound. I had an appointment for today, but no one showed up. When I called to ask about the status of the appointment, I was told one of their engineers didn't show up to work today. They offered to reschedule. Seems like someone should have called me to say the appointment needed to be changed. Instead, my time was wasted with no notice nor apology.
