Best tap beer selection I've ever seen at a bar, finally a bar not under the thumb of CUB
Not happy at all. Turned up last night and wet towels on floor and bed not even made. They gave us another room right next to the pokies so struggled to sleep. Was told was going to be swapped back to original room for 2nd night but they went ahead and booked out our room so now we going to be stuck listening to pokies feature music and people streaming all night. Not even an offer of compensation. Do not recommend.
With a night in Orange for work recently, looking for a well-priced surf & turf, The Royal Hotel delivered over its nearby neighbours and I really enjoyed it. The steak was 400g, well cooked and full-blooded and added the surf all for around $50 which was excellent value.
We booked in for Friday/Saturday in the basic, shared bathroom room(#3). Exactly as we’re used to(apart from the whopping great tv!). Everything was hunky dory till the band struck up around 10:30. We must have been right above them as I thought we were in one of those coin-fed massage beds! The other half went downstairs to ask what time they were playing till……the news wasn’t good and to top it on they were coming back Saturday as well.
