I went there to get two moles removed. The removal was fine, albeit expensive, but the nurse who removed the stitching did an awful job. I got some thread out of one in the shower while the other became infected and I was put on antibiotics for a week before I could finally remove the last of the stitching.
For the first time in 2 years, I feel that there will finally be a resolution to my painful skin issues. From the receptionists, to the doctor, to the nurse. EVERY person we dealt with was friendly, thorough and genuinely cared about our experience. 5+ stars!
I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Orange Dermatology. I turned up with a pretty severe dermatological issue that, even after spending 5 days in a Base Hospital with doctors trying to figure out my affliction, to avail, got me an appointment at Orange Dermatology I have no idea what Dr Noonan and Dr Davies injected into me (as I leave that stuff up to the experts) but whatever it was worked a treat and my severe condition has almost gone in a matter of days. I have been seeing Dr Bartos for the last 12 months for the management of adult acne. I have appreciated Dr Bartos’ expertise and forthright approach in managing this issue (as it isn’t the first time I’ve dealt with this issue but previously treated with a different dermatologist). My skin is looking lovely again. I also appreciated the discussion around potential future treatment options should the issue reoccur, which I wasn’t privy to with my previous dermatologist.
Reception staff were lovely and supportive. Doctor did not seem willing to help, only concerned about her time frame, costs ('the nurses will be cheaper than me') and appearance (see a plastic surgeon so the scar isnt horrible). A ridiculous 8 minute consult for over $230, a 3 hour drive and the only outcome being another referral. Make sure you know what you're paying for and get the service you need.
