You were accessible via phone and email, responsive to my questions with detailed answers, and took time to explain the APR and payment options! I have banked with OCCU since 2014, and intend on closing my accounts. While every organization experiences problems, those problems if managed correctly, should prompt correction and training to avoid reoccurrence. OCCU has significantly and progressively declined, implementing new software and systems that are substantially worse than the ones they are replacing. One of the most humiliating banking experiences I’ve had. I went into Orange County Credit Union on St. Andrews in Santa Ana fully prepared to immediately bring my auto loan current after learning it was 53 days behind. I was not refusing payment, arguing against the balance, or avoiding responsibility — I was there specifically to resolve the issue on the spot. I dread every time I have to visit OCCU. Constant issues from the start and bad customer service. The only reason I’m still here is because I have a low interest rate that I locked in on a loan a few years ago. I’m looking forward to closing my account once I take full advantage of the low rate that is no longer available anywhere.

I have banked several years with other institutions and I have never had as many issues with my checking account as I did with this one. I’ve had less issues with a bank for 10 years , than the 4 months I had this account. First issue I had an unauthorized charge within the first 2 months of having my account. To make it worse, they told me I needed to call and sort the unauthorized charge on my own first. No help. Left me to take care of a fraudulent charge myself.
