People please, I don't do very many reviews and when I do its often true to my experience and words. This title company is horrible, they make errors all the time and don't own up to correcting it. These people would beat around the bush and make excuses after excuses. Sad thing is, I have spokened to others who have used them before and not to my surpise, everyone has had the same bad experience as well. It has been communicated to me that Lupe was the only person kept in the office, which makes the lack of answered calls even more concerning. If she is the sole staff member present, then the phone should be her first priority. She is not assisting escrow officers, she is not meeting with clients, and she is not managing files—so there is no reasonable explanation for the phone going unanswered for two consecutive days. Our experience with Orange Coast Title Company was frustrating and stressful. It took them over 2 years to transfer title after close of escrow. TWO YEARS. Granted, we were unaware that there even was an issue until year 2, but when the problem became known, there didn’t seem to be any sense of urgency with Orange Coast. Do NOT use this titling company or insurance company, whatever they call themselves, they are very incompetent. They don't understand what closing dates are, we're two weeks past and it's still not recorded in the county records. Sherane Tucker is not someone you want to work with, she's unresponsive, slow and doesn't seem to care at all. Do NOT use them!
FYI, one star is too many… In my unfortunate dealings with Orange Coast Title, I have encountered a level of inefficiency that is simply incomprehensible. Despite their claim to be a full-service operation, they seem incapable of even the most rudimentary tasks. It took an absurdly excessive amount of time to process what should have been a straightforward transaction, despite having a team of four or more individuals handling the file—most of whom seemed utterly disinterested in communicating or moving the process forward. ... read more
