Our experience with Orange Coast Title Company was frustrating and stressful. It took them over 2 years to transfer title after close of escrow. TWO YEARS. Granted, we were unaware that there even was an issue until year 2, but when the problem became known, there didn’t seem to be any sense of urgency with Orange Coast. Do NOT use this titling company or insurance company, whatever they call themselves, they are very incompetent. They don't understand what closing dates are, we're two weeks past and it's still not recorded in the county records. Sherane Tucker is not someone you want to work with, she's unresponsive, slow and doesn't seem to care at all. Do NOT use them!
FYI, one star is too many… In my unfortunate dealings with Orange Coast Title, I have encountered a level of inefficiency that is simply incomprehensible. Despite their claim to be a full-service operation, they seem incapable of even the most rudimentary tasks. It took an absurdly excessive amount of time to process what should have been a straightforward transaction, despite having a team of four or more individuals handling the file—most of whom seemed utterly disinterested in communicating or moving the process forward. ... read more
If you are looking for a professional transaction, this is NOT the place! Absolutely unorganized and they do not answer the phone in key points of the process. Sherane Tucker dropped the ball in every point in the process. Escrow was extended 18 days due to her lack of detail and follow up. She also "Forgot" to send out my check for two weeks after saying she would cancel the first check and fedex it the next morning.
