I came in for a scheduled consult regarding a dental emergency—a molar infection with a possible root canal needed. The office insisted I take a CT scan, even though I had a Cone Beam CT (CBCT) done yesterday and brought it on a USB drive. They told me they ‘don’t accept outside CT scans and don’t have to,’ claiming theirs is a ‘360 scan.’ I explained that my scan is in standard DICOM format, is part of my health records, and that I wanted to avoid unnecessary radiation. Rude. If you want to pay cash instead of using (waiting on) insurance, she will refuse to treat you, saying that someone once rescinded a payment before. Wasted over a hour of my time in her chair today only to find this out!!!
Quick and painless. Easy to get appt. seemed more knowledgeable than my past dentist. Finally my teeth have stopped hurting after a year.
