Oral Surgery and Dental Implants Review. Location Decatur, Georgia. When I went in for my consult I put on my records I wanted the tooth and silver returned to me. The silver is approximately 19 grams of 40 year old pure silver or $40.00 dollars. When I came in for surgery when I was in recovery the surgery team told me the tooth and silver were not available. Dr. Lewis is a fine surgeon but was very difficult to talk to. I asked when it's safe to spit again after surgery. He said "never" and then insisted the visible bone fragment in the extraction site was a piece of food. When I explained why i didn't think it was food, he got defensive ("I've been doing this 30 years") before finally answering my question. I really appreciate everyone at this Decatur office,they were so patient,professional and friendly. This kind of customer service is rare. Dr McAndrews made my experience so seamless. He had exceptional bedside manner;such a genuine soul. He is always smiling which definitely makes you feel more comfortable, I do appreciate him.
