Update (10/15/25): It has been almost 6 MONTHS since my tooth extraction with Dr. Patel, and the numbness in my tongue has remained unchanged. I still have numbness at the tip of my tongue, which continues to affect my daily life, making it difficult to brush my teeth with mint flavored toothpaste, eat spicy or heavily seasoned foods, or drink hot beverages.
