My appointment was on 12/15/21 where I was scheduled a root canal which is my second time there. My first time I had filings with an amazing doctor not so great dental assistant. Well the coincidence is for my second dental appointment she was the assistant as well. The first time she had a bit of an attitude with my filling second time she had an attitude and she was rough! Before my root canal started it took some time for the nonvaccine to kick in so that is when I guess the irritation began. The doctor for my root canal procedure was nice and young so I appreciated that. When it was time to do my Xray the dental assistant whom I am speaking of saw that i was in pain and basically yelled at me to bite down on the item so she complete the X-ray. She repeated "if you don't do this now, then we are going have to keep re doing this again and again". WHAT SET ME OFF IS HER PRESSING HER HAND ON THE TOP PART OF MY LIP TO CLOSE MY MOUTH FOR ME ". No exaggeration it was a press. Immediately I asked the doctor once the procedure was done can I speak to her in front of the assistant .When we were all done I suspected the dental assistant knew I had something to say about her so she was being nice and kind of stood near the room where my procedure was done, when I wanted to speak to the doctor alone. Doctor stated they will tell the manager. I left the dental office and the manager called me and apologized on behalf of that BUT surprisingly the manager had a complaint for me as well . She said the doctor and assistant said they had a hard time with communication with me, which is ODD cause I stopped them every time I felt pain. Makes me think were they irritated wit me cause my medicine did not kick in, in the timeframe they wanted? The manager also did say that the assistant was frustrated with me at the moment of hard communication. I did not like that i had a complaint for them and they had a complaint for me .. VERY messy on the managers end. From the first time I thought this was a very nice place to go to but the second experience pushed me away and it will be very uncomfortable to return after this, i'd rather continue my procedures elsewhere. My feedback is hire assistants that likes the job not ones that gets impatient and irritated. Also manager should also defuse the situation by not providing a complaint to a paying patient.
