Did not have a great experience here. Fair selection of gowns. Did not feel we could vocalize our opinions of any dresses without being attacked by our sales lady. She is opinionated. Felt pressured to purchase due to sales that supposedly “end today.”
This is a beautiful shop! Walking in I was immediately taken in by the atmosphere, which was warm, elegant, and inviting! There were so many choices for dresses, and since it's a small shop, it was just the bride, and our group of friends in there. We could laugh and cry in peace. Our helper/attendant Cora was such a joy. She had great advice, she cracked jokes, and was very knowledgeable! If there wasn't something she knew, then she welcomed us to call Orainda herself. I went to Orainda's to try on wedding gowns. Beginning of the appointment seemed normal until I came out in the first dress. My family wanted to take photos so I can remember and look back on the dresses I tried on, and the owner immediately told us pictures are not allowed. She explained she has had bad experiences of brides coming in just to find out the size and style they like, then going and purchasing elsewhere.
