If you are in need of a General Care Doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Gustavo Riffel with Optum Care. I have been seeing him for years. He is professional, knowledgable, caring, etc. He listens to your concerns, refers you to Specialists if needed and follows up on your care. As a Senior Patient, I highly trust Dr. Riffel for my care.
Dr Rahman is one of the worst doctors I've seen in my life. Very rude, condescending, and ignorant. I went for a fist bump instead of a handshake, a completely normal thing in a doctor's office, and he made a germaphobe comment, which was unnecessary and unprofessional. Then he started to tell me I don't have a medical condition I was diagnosed with, because I don't fit his very narrow stereotype of what that condition looks like. During my second visit with Dr. Monica Cavarlez-Cowden as my new primary care physician, I was consistently impressed with the outstanding care and attention to detail she provided. Dr. Cavarlez-Cowden takes a genuine interest with her patients’ well being, and her approach is centered around their unique needs. The nurse, Miguel, was very thorough. The office environment is clean and organized, parking is easily accessible, and the staff demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Optum Primary Care & Dr. Cavarlez-Cowden was a wonderful choice for my PCP. She was very caring and informative and I felt she really cared about my health & well being. I would highly recommend her and Optum to anyone in the future.
