Save yourself some time and money by not going to Optum. It is quite a bit of hassle to get any orders in on time for any tests the doctor wants you to do. A whole different story if you need to get follow up tests. I had to reschedule my mammogram and ultrasound every single time because they never have the orders ready! It took over 2 hours to get an order in when I went to the west hills office in person. This office lacks organization and is very poorly run! This will be my last visit to this terrible facility!
Update: I called the number Optum put in response to my rating and was lied to again about what to do. The first person explained a completely different protocol for getting specialty care and then put me on hold, and then I got a new person who said the first woman was wrong and I had to do it yet a different way. I have no idea what is going on with this place. My new PCP is nice but specialty care is inaccessible.
