The staff at the front desk, my nurse, and Dr. Sixsmith were all extremely knowledgeable and kind. The facility was clean and organized. I felt extremely fortunate to have discovered this Optum Urgent Care facility in NYC in Yorkville.
Be careful here. Came in on a Friday evening with acute abdominal pain. The doctor was visibly irritated by my presence, made dismissive comments, and the entire visit lasted under 20 minutes with no tests or labs. I was subsequently billed under CPT 99204, which requires 45-59 minutes of provider time. Currently disputing the charge. The clinic on 3rd Ave has several similar reviews which are worth considering before you visit.
Was seen quickly. The staff and doctor were pleasant, quick and efficient.
I made an appointment for 8:45 and arrived 10 minutes early only to not be called for over an hour and a half. After being called back I then had to wait another almost hour to be seen by the doctor. This is absolutely ridiculous and outrageous that with an appointment the wait time is over 2 hours long. There was people who got there after me and were walk in seen and left before me.
